The Preservation and maintenance of our built historic heritage using a sympathetic and minimalistic approach to listed buildings.
The repair of traditional buildings using appropriate building materials to match the exact details and profile.
Sometimes it is not always necessary to replace decayed stone and more than likely we can provide a surface repair which can replicate the original stone feature and details. All surface repairs are reversible therefore are particularly suited to a conservation ethic.
We can supply carve and dress new stone to your exact requirements and whatever your needs.
The replacement of decayed pointing using traditional lime mortars allowing for all breathability and further enhancing the building making it function properly and in many cases improving appearance.
All types of stone walling undertaken from using existing materials and rebuilding where possible or providing a full new build service this includes boundary walls, main structure or a simple garden wall.
Entrance pillars taken down and rebuilt due to accident damage or poor maintenance or simply just stone decay.
All work carried out using only approved lime mortars which allows for breathability and permeability. This allows the building to both absorb and evaporate moisture allowing it to maintain heat.
The repair and replacement of all stone chimney structures. The pointing often gets weathered and washed out at a greater rate than the rest of your building walls and is generally often over looked which can further accelerate stone decay.
We carry out repairs to missing slates, ridges, gutters and broken or blocked downpipes and believe it or not sometimes even vegetation removal!
Associated with stone walling, gates, steps and grills.
All external works windows, doors, rainwater goods, cupolas, facias and soffits but not limited too.
